The more attention you can give to breath exhalation, the more relaxation you will feel. However, due to stress or haste, the exhalation is often short and shallow. The body takes care of the inhalation itself, if you exhale deeply the body will naturally inhale deeply, you do not have to pay attention to that. Pay attention to your exhalation, let it become deep again. You will start to feel more relaxed, an inner silence will arise in you. You can deepen this by doing the following exercise:
Exhale deeply for 15 minutes
Sit in a chair and exhale deeply and as you exhale, close your eyes. When the air goes out, close your eyes and go inside yourself. Then let the body inhale again… and as the air goes in, open your eyes and turn your attention outward. So, when the air goes out, you go in, and when the air goes in, you go out.
Do this for 15 minutes, during the day.
